Over 40 years of helping people in the Yakima Valley and Central Washington

Our client list spans individuals, families, businesses and organizations located throughout the Western U.S., but our roots are deeply planted in the Yakima Valley. While many of our advisors began successful careers in other markets, they have chosen to return to this region to serve the people, businesses and communities that mean so much to us.

1975

BBM was established as one of the primary life insurance brokerages in Eastern Washington. At the request of the leadership at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital, we launched Direct Administrators, one of the first group medical administrators in Yakima. Within five years of launch, we obtained over 75% of the group medical plans in the Yakima Valley.

1975-1990

In the mid-seventies, we expanded our services to add retirement plan administration and consulting services, which quickly became our focus with deep experience in ERISA and other qualified plan regulations. The shift from traditional pension plans to 401(k) retirement programs was an exciting opportunity to serve our clients in a new capacity. Four decades later, this area remains a core competency of our firm.

1990

Group medical insurance regulations passed in the ’90s encouraged us to sell our group insurance and claims administration business. This strategic shift allowed us to offer private wealth management and financial planning services to individuals and families.

1990 – Today

As a firm, we continue to adapt to changes in the financial planning industry, but our commitment to our clients remains steadfast. With second-generation firm leadership in place, the firm is poised to excel into the next 40 years and beyond. We hope you will join us on this journey.
